Reflective Bibliography - Teaching Children's Literature

LLED 441 Reflective Bibliography Following are a series of academic articles from the course readings which I particularly enjoyed for their insights and how they pushed me to investigate further into the presented topics. The ‘professional prods’ from the academic articles inspired further research and reflection on my own practice and experiences. Ultimately, each of these academic reads pushed me deeper into professional and personal examination which, rather than feeling like heavy coursework, was a source of great delight as I uncovered new-to-me, exciting and engaging high-quality children’s literature. I have organized this collection of works into categories to help my organization of the paper and to guide my reflections. Each category contains references to insightful required readings and the resources they inspired me to explore.
